Why Hyggebett
Hygge is the Danish word for the feeling of being warm, safe and a little too comfortable to get up. Bett is the German word for bed. We put the two together because that is the whole job: a bed that feels like the best part of your day.
Most bedding falls into two camps. Plain white sets that look like every hotel room, or designer prints at designer prices. We wanted the space in between: real cotton and linen, in checks, stripes, ruffles and florals that make a bedroom feel lived in, at a price that does not need a special occasion.
What we promise
- The truth about the fabric. Every product page tells you what it is made of, how it feels, how warm it sleeps and whether it needs ironing. No vague talk about premium quality.
- Sizes that make sense. US sizes, with the finished dimensions in inches and the mattress each one fits. Not sure? Write to us and a person will check with you.
- Room to change your mind. Free returns for 60 days and free size exchanges. If it is not right, we send you a prepaid label.
How it gets to you
Our pieces are imported: they are made for us by partner factories overseas, then shipped to your door with tracking. Standard delivery takes 6 to 10 business days, and shipping is free on orders over $99. The details are in our shipping policy.
