Why linen holds a stitch
Linen comes from the stalk of the flax plant. Its long, strong fibers make a dry, matte cloth with a slight slub, firm enough to carry dense embroidery without puckering. It softens with every wash.

For a neutral sofa that needs one bright note.
Round flowers in ochre looped embroidery with mauve centers, on tall green stems, worked on off-white linen.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Wash separately for the first few cycles: deep and saturated colours release a little dye at first. Do not bleach, do not dry clean.
Textured weaves such as seersucker, waffle and gauze are meant to look relaxed: they need no ironing, and they soften with every wash.
Free standard shipping on orders over $99. Standard delivery takes 6 to 10 business days, priority 5 to 8. You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

The fabric
An off-white linen ground with the pattern stitched into it, so the flowers stand up from the cloth.

Linen comes from the stalk of the flax plant. Its long, strong fibers make a dry, matte cloth with a slight slub, firm enough to carry dense embroidery without puckering. It softens with every wash.

Each flower is worked in cotton thread, loop by loop, so it has relief you can feel under your fingers. The color sits in the thread, which is why it does not fade the way a print can.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out. Linen creases, and that is part of its charm; if you want it smooth, iron on the back with low heat so the embroidery keeps its relief.
